Having that added barrier on your hands also reduces the risk of damaged your skin whether that is from a chemical which can dry your skin or cuts or scratches. There are many chemicals that can cause long term effects on your skin. With cuts and scratches also comes infections. I have heard of instances where a person has cut their hand on an unfamiliar vehicle which in turn led to a flesh eating disease. Now obviously that is an extreme situation, but still possible unfortunately.

My big gauntlets gloves I use to work outside for gardening and landscaping. I keep them clean as you can see. I clean them after each use. They are made of black cotton and beige leather. Their leather is not roughout but the shinier type. Very odorant! Hummm!
