  • No need to be embarrassed when somebody asked to use your restroom! Tracy shares a tip on how to easily keep things clean daily!
Watch tracy’s “Naked Shower Cleaning” for instruction on how to clean your shower.

    http://www.clorox.com/products/clorox-clean-up-cleaner-bleach/?gclid=CPH58u7AhL4CFQlafgodmZwAig

Hi there. Welcome to Cleaning and Organizing with Tracy. Today I am going to share with you a tip that is going to help you be able to keep your bathroom clean and presentable every day. You are not going to be embarrassed if somebody asks to use your rest room and you haven’t cleaned it for a week. You are going to be fine if you follow my tip. Are you ready to see what it is? Let’s do it.

Ok, before I share my tip with you, first I want to go over what I do on an actual bathroom cleaning day. Now when it is actually cleaning day and I am taking out all my supplies, I want to make sure I have a bucket. I want to have rubber gloves. I always want to have rubber gloves. And I like a big white washrag. I don’t like sponges. I feel like sponges don’t … they just clean such a small area. I like a big rag that I can really slop on all the cleaner everywhere. I want to make sure I get every nook and cranny. And it is a lot easier to do with a rag instead of a sponge.

I want to fill my bucket with piping hot water and then I want to put some kind of bleach based product in it. I like just basic Clorox Cleanup. This is something that I like, but just use whatever you like to use. It is just nice to know when you have bleach you know that your bathroom is being disinfected. It is not just being wiped down and cleaned. It is really cleaning the germs if bleach is in the product.

So I also use Soft Scrub to clean my sinks, my toilet and my tub. Again, my Soft Scrub I always buy the Soft Scrub that has bleach in it so I know everything is getting really clean. I even have in my cleaning supplies a bottle of bleach. So if I have mold growing in my shower that I am really struggling with, sometimes I just put a little bit of bleach directly on the mold to help take care of the problem.

So that is what I do on cleaning day. Now for the tip to keep your bathroom clean every day. You want to go out and buy yourself some cleaning wipes. Of course, I like Clorox, the ones that have bleach in them. But if you have a container of cleaning wipes accessible, easily accessible in your bathroom, you can just pull out one wipe and wipe things down so quickly. You can have hair and toothpaste and all kinds of things in your sink and a simple rag like this can take care of that problem just within seconds.

Now it is such a scrawny little wipe, but I found out that if you put water in it, it still has the cleaner, but it just gives it a lot better cleaning power. I turn on the water in my sink, really get it wet and then really wipe things down. And it is awesome, because in a second you can just wipe it down. You don’t have to get all your cleaning supplies and your rags and make a big deal. It is right there, you… whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop. You clean it and it is done.

Now these are really great if you have a lot of boys, because if you have a lot of boys in your household, you know they create a horrible mess around the toilet. So if you have a container of wipes in your bathroom, you are going to keep it clean every day. Makes such a difference.

Now I keep my … I keep my container behind my bathroom door so when the door shuts, it doesn’t matter who is in the bathroom, they are going to see this container of wipes and then they may use it as well.

Now I get my wipes at Costco when they come in a pack of three and they are on coupon which they… that is quite often and I try to stock up then. So go ahead and buy yourself some wipes. It makes a huge difference and your bathroom will stay clean every day. It is great.

So that is my tip for you today. So I hope it is helpful. If you think it was, if you enjoy my video, please give me a thumbs up. Subscribe to my YouTube channel and tell all your friends.

I hope you have a great week. Remember to stay clean and organized. And I will see you next time.

When installing a tile shower, whether it be ceramic, marble travertine or any other tile product, a mud base will be required. Mud also known as deck mud, is a mixture of sand and Portland cement mixed to a ratio that will create a solid foundation for the tile which will be installed on it. The deck mud is mixed with water to a dump consistence which will allow the deck mud to hold its shape when pressed into a ball. The mud must be pitcher towards the drain so that a slope of at least ¼” per foot is achieved. The ratio of sand and Portland cement is usually 4:1 or 5:1. I usually use “Quikrete” sand topping mix, which as far as I know, has a ratio which is a little richer than needed, but is suitable for a shower pan. The method I employ to install my mud in shower pan, is to create a level and flat perimeter around the base of the shower walls which is at the correct height in relation to the drain, and then fill the middle part of the shower pan screeding down to the drain with the proper pitch. The mud is shaped with a wooden trowel, steel trowel, level and other pieces of straight wood lengths cut to the required lengths. In this video I demonstrate the technique I use to install a shower mud pan base. There are other methods that can be used, but this is the way I have installed hundreds of shower bases. How to grout a ceramic tile floor, step by step, this video is intended to be a guideline on how to grout a ceramic tile floor. This is how I do it and what I have found to be the simplest and quickest way to grout You will need a rubber float, a couple of buckets, a margin trowel for mixing your grout, and some rubber gloves. Mix your grout according to the direction of the grout you are using. Once the grout is ready, I find the best way to grout a tile floor is to spread the grout with the rubber float while holing it at a very low angle to the floor and pushing the grout into the lines while applying a good amount of pressure. Once you have filled the lines go over the same area with the float at a very high angle in order to remove all the excess grout and leave the grout lines filled with the proper amount of grout. Let stand for a period of time, then with a grout sponge and a bucket of clean cold water, work the grout lines with the sponge. The sponge should have as little water as possible not dripping or soaked. At this point the goal is to shape the grout lines not clean the tile. Once this is accomplished, the next step is to clean the tile. Again with a damp sponge and clean water, place the sponge on the tile, with even pressure pull the sponge in one direction only, lift the sponge flip to the other side repeat, rinse and repeat until the grouted section is clean. Once the whole floor is grouted and cleaned in this fashion, wait until the floor dries to a haze, and rinse again in the same manner.
I hope anyone that watches this finds it helpful.
