Two of my close friends have their birthdays in August. They are kind of frisky, and will get a kick out of these cards.
The old lady with the bootie is from AI Art impressions and the zombies are from Art Gone Wild. I decided to color the zombies and use the sentiment from the AI set for both cards. I used wobbles to make the lady’s face wobble and the other wobble I used on the cut out of the lady zombie.
I colored the zombies with Touch 5 markers and Rich wrote the numbers on the screen. I used gray tones to color the zombies. I like to use the lightest color first for the whole image, then go over the highlights with a darker tone, then go back over everything with the lightest tone again.
I used a peg stamp small crab to stamp on the rubber duckie. You can find them at www.pegstamps.com and Lindsay the frugal crafter almost always has a discount code for them on her latest peg stamp video.
I had a stamp from Seaside Stampin Inc that had some sand on it and I inked the stamp where the sand was, and used baked brown sugar ink to stamp it with. I’m sorry I was out of frame for the sand and part of the zombie coloring.
I used the 1″ chip brush to color in the background with Cool Caribbean ink. I used Summer Sun to stamp a sun from the peg stamps and stamped it in the corner. I used another chip brush to color in the sandy area with more crumb cake stampin’ up ink.
I cut one of the lady zombies and used a black Sharpie to outline the lady so there is no white showing. I tried to cut one of the wobbles down so it would work under her head, but it doesn’t really wobble in the end. I had to add foam tape behind the rest of the lady zombie, so she didn’t tear at her neck.
I found nail art jewelry at the Dollar Tree and used it as embellishments on both cards.

Volkswagen India has launched the facelift model of its premium sedan Vento. The New Volkswagen Vento 2015 has fresh exteriors, richer interiors and high safety features. The upgraded version features three slated chrome grille, newly sculpted bumper followed by LED indicators, electrically foldable side view mirrors and powerful headlamps with cornering lights. Moving on the side, it has new alloy wheels, chrome door handles, exhaust tip, boot lining and tail lamps with LED’s. When you step into the car, you will see that the top end model of Vento comes with ‘Walnut Desert Beige’ interior theme, which nicely decorated with chrome accents. The smooth dashboard with a new flat-bottom steering wheel and a multi-function console adds appeal to it. The infotainment system is compatible with Bluetooth, CD, USB, Aux-in. Turning to the rear side, the back seats of the Vento has armrest with two cup holders. Coming to the safety features, this facelift has included numerous that assure protection to all its occupants. This includes two airbags in front as standard in all models, rear parking sensor, ABS, EBD, hill hold assist and front fog lamps with static cornering lights. The top end trim also has cruise control and cooled glove box. The Vento is being offered in 3 engine options. i.e 1.2 TSI, 1.6MPI and 1.5 diesel. The 1.6 MPI motor churns out 103.3 bhp of power with 153 Nm torque and has an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 16.09 kmpl. The 1.2 litre engine has 7 speed DSG gear box that produces the power output is 103.3 bhp @5000 rpm with 175Nm torque and ARAI economy tested of this motor is 18.19 kmpl, whereas 1.5L diesel produces peak power of 103.3 bhp with 250Nm of torque and it is available with 5 speed manual gearbox and 7 speed DSG.
