Following graduation Eric enlisted in the US Army and after Basic Combat Training reported to Officer Candidate School and was commissioned in 2007. His schools, certifications and awards include, Infantry, Airborne, Ranger, Combat Lifesaver, Sniper Employment, Combatives, Combat Infantry Badge, Valorous Unit Award, Bronze Star Medal, and various other awards. Eric spent over 20 months deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. His various duty positions included Recon Platoon Leader, Rifle Platoon Leader, Rifle Company XO, Battalion S-4, Battalion Assistant S-3.

After his honorable discharge in 2011, Eric went to work for a large international corporation as a regional sales manager and then to managing the largest retail gun store in Florida. Eric joined Sticky Holsters in January 2014. Eric also teaches home defense, Florida Concealed Weapons Licenses, and Intro to Handgun classes in his spare time. He carries multiple NRA Instructor Certifications. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, boating, martial arts, traveling and spending time with his family.
