Launch Description of Volkswagen Vento 2015

Volkswagen India has launched the facelift model of its premium sedan Vento. The New Volkswagen Vento 2015 has fresh exteriors, richer interiors and high safety features. The upgraded version features three slated chrome grille, newly sculpted bumper followed by LED indicators, electrically foldable side view mirrors and powerful headlamps with cornering lights. Moving on the side, it has new alloy wheels, chrome door handles, exhaust tip, boot lining and tail lamps with LED’s. When you step into the car, you will see that the top end model of Vento comes with ‘Walnut Desert Beige’ interior theme, which nicely decorated with chrome accents. The smooth dashboard with a new flat-bottom steering wheel and a multi-function console adds appeal to it. The infotainment system is compatible with Bluetooth, CD, USB, Aux-in. Turning to the rear side, the back seats of the Vento has armrest with two cup holders. Coming to the safety features, this facelift has included numerous that assure protection to all its occupants. This includes two airbags in front as standard in all models, rear parking sensor, ABS, EBD, hill hold assist and front fog lamps with static cornering lights. The top end trim also has cruise control and cooled glove box. The Vento is being offered in 3 engine options. i.e 1.2 TSI, 1.6MPI and 1.5 diesel. The 1.6 MPI motor churns out 103.3 bhp of power with 153 Nm torque and has an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 16.09 kmpl. The 1.2 litre engine has 7 speed DSG gear box that produces the power output is 103.3 bhp @5000 rpm with 175Nm torque and ARAI economy tested of this motor is 18.19 kmpl, whereas 1.5L diesel produces peak power of 103.3 bhp with 250Nm of torque and it is available with 5 speed manual gearbox and 7 speed DSG. The tested ARAI economy of a 5-speed manual is 20.64 kmpl, while 20.50 kmpl is for 7 speed DSG. The price of New Vento ranges between 8.1 – 12.1 lac*.
