Notice that this time I used a fresh lemon, and that I wear my gloves. Always wear rubber gloves,kitchen gloves,hobby gloves, or even latex gloves when polishing to stop your nails and cuticles being torn to shreds!

One I’ve cleaned with lemon and salt.
You can really tell the difference
especially if you look at this knob on the top.
and the knob on the cleaned one.
It’s such a difference isn’t it!

DIY Monster Gloves for Cheap! I’ve been making these for a few years now, and this is just to show you how to make a simple beginner pair to get you guys started. I’ve got a few more techniques regarding rubber monster gloves, but I figured these would be a good starting point and I might make more tutorials of different styles in the future. With Halloween coming up you can save yourself a chunk of change by making monster gloves like these for cheap instead of going to a seasonal store and getting pricey carbon copy costume gloves with bad paint jobs. You can also use these gloves in lieu of painting your hands and making a mess at a party, on a shoot or any other social setting you might be dressing up at. 2 Rubberbands
2 5 ounce Styrofoam Cups
2 16 ounce Plastic Cups
1 inch Chip Brushes – atleast 2
10 Acrylic Nails Cut to Points *optional
Hot Glue Gun + Glue Sticks
Paper Towels
Monster Makers RD 407 Mask Grade Latex or Make-up Grade Latex
*I prefer RD 407 for this because it’s not as messy or sticky as Make-up Grade Latex and it’s easier to tint with acrylics
Yellow Nail Varnish
Black Nail Varnish + Fine Detailing Brush
FW Acrylic Ink in Emerald Green *optional
FW Acrylic Ink in Black *optional
Translucent Setting Powder
Large Fluffy Brush
