Who makes the boxes?

Wooden memory keepsake puzzle boxes are handcrafted in Uruguay. These boxes are finely crafted by only one highly skilled master craftsman in Montevideo capital of Uruguay. The techniques used in Uruguay to make this boxes have only be used by one craftsman. He will pass to his son his secrets.

What about creating a box?

Beautifull materials such as “grabillea, acacia negra, cerejeira, ligustro, itaúba, nogal, roble, agorrobo, olivo, olmo” used are crafted into these fun and eyecatching wooden boxes.

We also use recycled antique woods such as antique doors, train supporting-beams, ceiling-beams of antique houses or from construction. Also stationair wood from saw-mills very dry. These woods are difficult to find but sometimes there are opportunities.
