This video is a demonstation of how I clean and maintain my AR15 platform firearms. I’ve owned, fired, and maintained at least one of these rifles since since purchasing in 1984 that A2 model you’ve seen in my videos. I’m not an AR15 “expert” like some I’m sure we’ll hear from, and I’ve not been to war with one of these babies, but what I do works for me.

So we insulated the toilet cistern using a tin of Expanding Foam!
The Expanding Foam was Messy Sticky stuff, but it seemed easier than trying to stick a Yoga Mat in there!!?
WEAR PROTECTIVE CLOTHING.
Long sleaves, Plenty of Rubber Gloves, somebody else around, and a lot of Patience are required if you are even thinking of attempting this method yourself!
Expanding Foam is sticky and will stick to your skin, and may also ruin your clothes! So try and be careful not to come into contact with it during use and before it cures, thanks!
