Safety gloves are very important when working or carrying out DIY. Each year thousands of people end up in hospital due to injuries that could have been prevented by wearing the correct safety gloves or work gloves. Some of the sites I work on make it mandatory to wear cut resistant safety gloves all the time when out on the shop floor, if you get seen without any of your PPE (personal protective equipment) you will be disciplined and could be removed from site!
