Our first attempt at a lifecast using Smooth-On Body Double silicone.
What we learned;
Do NOT use latex for any part of this process. No latex bald cap or latex gloves.
Body Double can be a bit hard to mix so make sure you use a decent size cup (bigger than you need) and a stir stick that is bigger than a popsicle stick.
Body Double is overall MUCH easier to use than alginate and you can get multiple casts from the one mold.

My thoughts:
After a 8 + hour day the gloves showed little wear and preformed great. For 9.99 you cant beat them for the casual user/garage
fabricator. I dont think they would hold up well to day to day use
like a tillman or torchwear glove but this glove is a fraction
