Chlorine can be very corrosiove when it dissolves in water or wet air. Chlorine can form hydrochloric and hypochlorous (HOCl) acids easily with the existence of water. The coated rusted metal is still in good condition until the end of the test because of the protective coating shield, and we are confident that it wont corrode for a long time to come!
